Chance came home in 2013. At 78 pounds, he’s a big, strong dude with a gentle soul, a heart of solid gold, and very little prey drive. He may have been exposed to cats prior to that but hasn’t interacted with one since. I secluded the kittens for the first two weeks while Chance learned the basics of Kitten Etiquette and practiced his manners.
The kittens came home on May 3, 2019. Sasha was 10 weeks old, Remy was 9 weeks. I am keeping them in the office for now so they can adjust to their new surrounding, and because I also have a lummox of a Boxer dog who’s never been exposed to cats.
Sasha was 10 weeks old when he came home from the breeder. He was curious but reserved about his new surroundings, and preferred a more sedate approach to the discovery process than his lunatic brother, Remy.
The kittens came home on May 3, 2019. Remy was 9 weeks old.
At 6 weeks old, Remy’s markings are slightly more defined. He has developed a very outgoing personality, and wants to be involved in everyone’s business.
My second visit with the boys was on April 12, 2019. There were several other people visiting their kittens at the same time so there was a lot going on. Rembrandt was by far the most outgoing of all the kittens, ripping around like his hair was on fire, while Versace thoughtfully contemplated the whole scene before climbing up a cat tree and playing quietly by himself.
My first visit with the kittens was March 30, 2019. Versace was 5 weeks, Rembrandt 4 weeks. It was also the first time they’d met each other, since they’re from different litters.
