Ch. Goldspurr Rambo
Remy’s closest marbled ancestor is his great-great-grandfather, Ch. Goldspurr Rambo. Pictures are hard to come by, but I managed to find this one:
Cazpurr’s Cloud is Sasha and Remy’s dad. His spectacular markings are described as clouded leopard. Thundercat Bengals’ Snowy Weather is Sasha’s mom. She’s a seal lynx point, also referred to as snow leopard.
In these photographs, Sasha’s colors appear much more subdued than they actually were. His markings were already very distinctive at 5 weeks, with some of the rosettes beginning to bloom with depth and shade.
At 4 weeks old, Remy appeared primarily black. Hints of his markings can be seen on his back and shoulders. Unlike spotted Bengals, whose markings are visible immediately, the marbled Bengal develops his markings very gradually over the course of a year or more.
