The kittens came home on May 3, 2019. Sasha was 10 weeks old, Remy was 9 weeks. I am keeping them in the office for now so they can adjust to their new surrounding, and because I also have a lummox of a Boxer dog who’s never been exposed to cats.
Meet the Boys
Sasha was 10 weeks old when he came home from the breeder. He was curious but reserved about his new surroundings, and preferred a more sedate approach to the discovery process than his lunatic brother, Remy.
The kittens came home on May 3, 2019. Remy was 9 weeks old.
At 6 weeks old, Remy’s markings are slightly more defined. He has developed a very outgoing personality, and wants to be involved in everyone’s business.
Rembrandt, marbled Bengal kitten; Versace, spotted Bengal kitten; Chance, adult Boxer dog.
In these photographs, Sasha’s colors appear much more subdued than they actually were. His markings were already very distinctive at 5 weeks, with some of the rosettes beginning to bloom with depth and shade.
At 4 weeks old, Remy appeared primarily black. Hints of his markings can be seen on his back and shoulders. Unlike spotted Bengals, whose markings are visible immediately, the marbled Bengal develops his markings very gradually over the course of a year or more.
